Overview

At the municipal (local) level, Pennsylvania is broken into counties, cities, boroughs, and townships. Local ordinances, or laws, may be compiled into a local code. Many Pennsylvania municipalities provide free online access to their codes through a third-party publisher. The most common of these publishers are listed below.

Finding PA Municipal Codes for Free Online

American Legal Publishing
Online codes for Pennsylvania municipalities include Johnstown, Lower Chichester Township, Philadelphia, Reading, Sharon, and Swarthmore Borough.
