Attorney Fees, Salary Surveys, and Rankings

Overview

Fees, billing, and salary are important considerations for attorneys. Many print publications provide information on determining and setting fees, including court awarded fees. Billing and salary information is cataloged and distributed by many companies across many job categories. In the legal community, companies like American Lawyer Media and local bar associations often conduct surveys to provide the legal community with billing, salary, and other ranking information. Methodology on how surveys are conducted varies between companies and should be consulted when evaluating survey results.

This guide provides an overview of attorney fees, billing surveys, salary surveys, and law firm rankings available at JenkinsPlease note that some publications, like the Survey of Law Firm Economics are on Jenkins' occasional purchasing schedule.
