Select Federal Court Rules are often reprinted in the United States Code. The following tables list known locations of court rules found in the main editions of the Government Publishing Office (GPO) U.S.C. resources. Additional court rules may be available in other titles of the U.S. Code. Updates to the court rules found in the main volumes may be available in the supplement volumes that correspond to the main volume.
The tables below list the court rules found in the main volumes and the location of the court rule. The link will open to the rule in HeinOnline. HeinOnline is a membership database available to most Jenkins' members. Members must be logged in to jenkinslaw.org for the link to work.
The GPO U.S.C. resources are also available online from GPO's govinfo and the U.S. House of Representatives Office of the Law Revision Counsel (coverage on both begins with 1994).
Commercial publishers like Lexis and West also reprint the court rules in the U.S. Code. The location of the court rules in these publications may be different than the location listed in the table below. Historical versions of the U.S. Code are also available on the Lexis and Westlaw computers in the library.
