Federal Court Rules

Overview

"The current [Rules of the Supreme Court of the United States] are a model of clarity and consistency, organized in a logical fashion that makes it possible for practitioners ... to understand and follow these critical rules of practice." The Rules of the Supreme Court are available for free online; on the member database LexisNexis Digital Library; on the library's in house Lexis, Westlaw, and Bloomberg Law computers; and in print. The Sup. Ct. R. is also available in the US Code. Historical versions of the Sup. Ct. R. may also be available. See below for more information.
