Lexis, WestlawBloomberg Law, and Trellis are available in the library, include select Pennsylvania Trial Level decisions. The number and selection of decisions they have may differ. See below for more details.

Please note that not all opinions will be available via these legal databases and the other resources in this guide should be consulted. In many cases, the opinion will have to be obtained from the court.

Pennsylvania State Cases, Combined
Available on the library's Lexis computers.
Coverage varies by county. Includes decisions from the Courts of Common Pleas reported in Pennsylvania District & County Reports from 1789 and the Philadelphia County Reporter from 1975.

Pennsylvania Trial Court Cases
Available on the library's Westlaw computers.
Court of Common Pleas coverage begins with 1870. Includes select cases from Pennsylvania District and County Reports. A limited number of cases for earlier years may be available.

Pennsylvania Trial Court Orders
Available on the library's Westlaw computers.
Includes selected civil, criminal, and bankruptcy court orders from Pennsylvania state and federal trial courts. Coverage begins with 2000. A limited number of documents for earlier years are available.

Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas
Available on the library's Bloomberg Law computers.
Coverage begins with 1921. Includes Pennsylvania District and County Reports. Select unpublished decisions from 1999 - present is also included.

Minor Courts
Available on the library's Bloomberg Law computers.
Coverage begins with 1921. Decisions issued by minor courts in Pennsylvania including the Court of Common Pleas. Also includes selected Court of Common Pleas cases from 1781-1790. Includes Pennsylvania District and County Reports.

Trellis Law
Available on any of the library's word processing computers. Coverage currently includes 67 counties in Pennsylvania (as well as other states) starting from 2006. Includes civil, family, and probate cases.
